Halo Helmi or whoever is holding all the photos now, if you can upload ALL the pics & video on photobucket.com would be good. It's better than flickr.com because those who want to download the photos don't need to sign up / sign in for anything. That way, even those who didn't go for the reunion can view it. Don't need to burn into CD because people like me who is staying so far away (staying in JB, working in S'pore) HOW to get hold of the CD lah?? Pity me lah... Then there are also others who are outstation kan..? How do you expect us to balik Seremban just to get the CD? Please take my suggestion lah..

Wow...its me !!!! Retro style !!! Thanks Hafi for posting my image. Anyway I guess ,half of photos taken have been release to Helmi. We will post the photos soon..but not all. The get your hands on all 500 pictures of the reunion night..(Helmi please correct me if I'm wrong with the no's)..there is a certain small fee to pay for the CD/DVD copies. Not much I think less than RM20.00.
About the website..I think its a very good idea. Sharul please do not hesitate any longer go ahead with it. RM 80.00 a year its ok. It will be great fun to have our own website. Any comments on anything please do not hesitate to let us know. Next year suggestion is Treasure Hunt...family can join in !!!!!!!!!! Hehehe

Hi Georgians,

I have an idea of developing our own website. To register the domain, the cost is about RM 80.00 a year. I've checked with MYNIC yesterday and domain www.georgian89-93.com.my is still available. Blog is good but it has many restriction/limitation and to commensurate with our growing number of members/activities in the future, having our own website is a worth investment.

Furthermore, I received complaints from those who are working with financial sectors that they were unable to get into the blog because of restriction set by the firewall.

So guys, those who're agree with this idea please YELL..

I wish to thank each and everyone , for making the sacrifice to attend our 89-93 batch reunion which was held last Saturday at S2 golf and country club. It was a memorable event eventhough we started late. Attendance was very encouraging, with many last minutes attendance. Like Sir Surjit said in his thank you speech , we hope that the next time we organise something for all of you guys..please bring along another friend of ours..to make future reunions better . I here wish to thank the committee once again for their endless effort in making the reunion a success...never did I think will be a great time. To name a few, Helmi for the brilliant mug and food, Hafitah for the stern collections and handling of funds, Anna for registration and invites , Shoba for her UniAsia bag sponsorship , Sharul for maintaining our blog , preparation of slides and music and not forgetting our lovely couple Azizul and Suhaila . First and foremost , I would like to thank all of those whom have committed themselves to attend our reunion meet this coming August 30th (Sat) @ 1388 Rasah Kemayan Golf Club in Seremban 2 . I guess for all of us the excitment is intense now, wondering how our old friends in school look like and what they have been doing for the past 15 years or so.... To add on...as I know there has been small gatherings being held prior to this..around KL , Hard Rock Cafe being part of the venue....hehehe and Seremban ... As such , to finalise things the committee will be having a meet this Sunday (9th August) , 6pm in A&W Seremban. All accounts will be closed by Saturday to facilitate the no of pax coming , for refreshments purposes. For those who really wish to join the excitment please do pay up by Friday (CIMB AC. Dear All Georgians,

It has been quite a slow month lately. Payments has been slow and the e-mails and blogs too. I guess most of us are quite busy with work since its fiscal year closing and all. Anyway just an update on the activities for the reunion, we have already now paid for the hall , yesterday ...(thanks Helmi). And now we will soon have the next committee meeting (in a weeks time or more) to discuss on the menu for the night and other final touches. Once again a reminder to all...please do make payment as soon as possible..if cannot pay first due to financial constrain and can only pay end of July , atleast please inform any of the committee members, of your confirm attendance. For those who have paid Thank You very much. I would also request that it will be great that all of us bring something as a gift for the lucky draw...it does not need to be an expensive one..its the thought that counts. Thank you all for the exciting debate on the theme....as I have said earlier is our "WISH" that all wear something according to theme...there are somewho agree and some who dont. For those who dont agree please do wear whatever u wish to wear on that night. For those who are excited about the theme please do the best 70's dress that u can ever come up with. The main aim for the theme is to get us a little bit creative thats all...its is not to confuse you. Noorin and Ahmad thanks for backing up and the rest thanks too for your comments. Everything has been set....the only thing left out isyour attendance. So make sure u come people thats all we ask !!!!!!!

Those of you still looking for yr missing frenz, if you know the full name, try typing on Google search in this format: ABCXYZ (yr friend's full name) followed by the country or state, e.g. 'Malaysia/Seremban/KL, etc.... if yr friend is working in a big company with a website, you may be able to track him/her down. Or you may find the person on facebook, friendster, whatever.... You'd be surprised. I've tried it before 'coz I'm an internet junkie. I know it works... depending who's the person you're looking for, where he/she works and also whether he/she has an active cyberlife like owning a blogsite, facebook, friendster, etc..

I just want to say that I'm so proud all my ex-Georgian friends who are Malay are effectively bilingual, can speak BM & English.... most of you have improved by leaps and bounds compared to our schooling days when some of you guys used to cakap English tergagap-gagap... tapi sekarang wah... in your emails very expert dah.... 'Cause each time I go to Indonesia, I have to be the interpreter due to the fact that my Singaporean team mates can't speak Bahasa and the local Indonesians can't understand English...how pathetic...

When I see how S'porean Chinese only know English and most Indonesians only know bahasa Indon, I'm so proud that Malaysians are bilingual due to good education. In Indonesia, students learn English in school too but very minimal... in primary school, they only learn 45mins once a week... every time I go there, I see my S'porean team mates and the Indons struggling to communicate like chicken-and-duck...

But we MALAYSIANS BOLEH! Alright!
