Dear Georgians mates,

We have now open a joint account under the name of Hafitah and Shuba for the reunion collection. As it is end of the month I presume all have recieved their salary. As such please bank in RM 70/person or RM 140/couple. Please do understand that we need to collect as soon as possible due to hall booking , food , souveniers and many other misc. things to be done for the reunion. Statements of expenditure will be send after reunion done. Once done please provide bank in transaction no via e-mail and do retain your slip for refferences. Final conclusion on the theme

Ok, for the sake of those who didn't happen to be in the mailing list or didn't read their emails (because too many mails were flying here & there...), here's the final conclusion by RAVI abt the 70s theme on malam 30 August:

Thank you all for the exciting debate on the theme....as I have said earlier is our "WISH" that all wear something according to theme...there are somewho agree and some who dont. For those who dont agree please do wear whatever u wish to wear on that night. For those who are excited about the theme please do the best 70's dress that u can ever come up with. The main aim for the theme is to get us a little bit creative thats all...its is not to confuse you. Noorin and Ahmad thanks for backing up and the rest thanks too for your comments. Everything has been set....the only thing left out isyour attendance. So make sure u come people thats all we ask !!!!!!!

As for the rest please provide gifts for the reunion (anything will do). Also we wish that everyone can take the effort to get dressed according to the theme that we have come up with. On the payment we will advise soon as we are facilitating an account under the reunion batch. Once done everyone can bank in the money before end of JUN.

Those of you still looking for yr missing frenz, if you know the full name, try typing on Google search in this format: ABCXYZ (yr friend's full name) followed by the country or state, e.g. 'Malaysia/Seremban/KL, etc.... if yr friend is working in a big company with a website, you may be able to track him/her down. Or you may find the person on facebook, friendster, whatever.... You'd be surprised. I've tried it before 'coz I'm an internet junkie. I know it works... depending who's the person you're looking for, where he/she works and also whether he/she has an active cyberlife like owning a blogsite, facebook, friendster, etc..

I just want to say that I'm so proud all my ex-Georgian friends who are Malay are effectively bilingual, can speak BM & English.... most of you have improved by leaps and bounds compared to our schooling days when some of you guys used to cakap English tergagap-gagap... tapi sekarang wah... in your emails very expert dah.... 'Cause each time I go to Indonesia, I have to be the interpreter due to the fact that my Singaporean team mates can't speak Bahasa and the local Indonesians can't understand English...how pathetic...

When I see how S'porean Chinese only know English and most Indonesians only know bahasa Indon, I'm so proud that Malaysians are bilingual due to good education. In Indonesia, students learn English in school too but very minimal... in primary school, they only learn 45mins once a week... every time I go there, I see my S'porean team mates and the Indons struggling to communicate like chicken-and-duck...

But we MALAYSIANS BOLEH! Alright!

Hi guys,

I saw everybody talking about pictures but only 2 of us upload their pictures in this blog. I think for those who had registered their names, please upload your picture and I will put it in the front page. Of course we don't have enough space to put everybody pictures in front but once everybody start to upload their pictures, I will make it slide show and everybody can refresh their memories about each other better.

I'm thinking of creating 1 section for old pictures (scouts, class pictures etc), those who still have it in their possesion, please upload or e-mail it to me.

Message From The Man - Ravi

Dear All Georgians,

It has been fun for the past months with many mails being sent around and good to see old friends after many years getting to know each other. As for the reunion list coming to a close, attach herewith is the confirmation list. There still mates whom have not confirm, and for those who have promised to send in more names please do so by weekend (Eliz). For the committee I would like to suggest a meeting next weekend same place around 8pm...to discuss on itenary and costing along with venue. For those who would like to join us for the meeting you are most welcome.

Once again Sharul a job well done for creating the blog. Also not forgetting Norshamri Ithnin...welcome to the mailing group.
